Much like many of our young clients, we are growing every season! As we enter our fifth year, The Clothesline has become a reliable non-profit for low-income families to get good clothes for their children. We give away clothes that kids want to wear, so they can attend school with comfort, dignity and confidence.
We are welcoming well over 200 boys and girls to the store each month this fall - totaling over 1,500 wardrobes given away over the course of a year! This means 30% more kids are coming in than last year. To meet this growth, we have had to make short and long-term investments:
- More staffing
- More real estate to display and store clothes
- More new purchases to fill in the gaps in inventory - like shoes, pants, and bras
We very much need your support to continue our work! So many families depend on us every year as their children outgrow their clothes.
