Prepare Kids to Look Forward to 2022!

While things may be slowly returning to normal, over 8,000 school-kids in Arlington experience precarious economic conditions. These families face lingering challenges from the pandemic that make it a struggle to meet basic family needs.

The Clothesline for Arlington Kids is prepared to help.

We receive donated clothing from the community, and add in new items like underwear and socks. Kids then receive a package of clothing that covers a full school week - twice per year completely free of charge.

We often hear from families that these clothes truly make a difference in their lives. Kids are dressed warmly enough to wait at the bus stop and play at recess. They feel confident and comfortable in the classroom. Family budgets can stretch a little further as kids continue to outgrow their clothes.

Since opening in 2018, The Clothesline has been able to help over 1,500 students in Arlington, giving away over 80,000 items of clothing.

It only costs $100 to dress a student, and this season kids are getting a winter coats and new sneakers! Won't you join us helping providing this vital community service? As an added incentive, our Board and key donors will match up to $11,500 of donations made by year-end.
